Lesser Scaup

Size: It measures approximately 38 to 46 cm.

Longevity: The lesser scaup has a longevity that can go up to 18 years.

Habitat: It lives in marshes, lakes, tundra ponds and along the river.

Food: The lesser scaup feeds on insects, crustaceans and molluscs (shells and snails), and also takes the seeds of various aquatic plants.
