Cinnamon Teal

Size: It measures approximately 36 to 43 cm.

Longevity: It can live for 12 years.

Habitat: The cinnamon teal lives in swamps, ponds and grassy lakes.

Food: Its diet is mainly composed of plants, but it also feeds on small mollusks and insects.

Did you know that cinnamon teal can mate with blue winged teal? Females of the two species can be easily mistaken.
