Habitat: The praying mantis lives in temperate regions of Europe, warm regions of Asia, Africa, North America and Australia. It only lives in hot and dry environments.
Food: It eats flies, mosquitoes, crickets, cockroaches and butterflies.
Did you know that, despite its quickness in deploying its armed paws, the praying mantis does not attack humans and if, during handling, it were to bite, it is not poisonous.
