Every year, \u00c9co-Odyss\u00e9e Nature Park wishes to open its skating trails for the holidays. On the other hand, the temperatures must be mild for the opening. This is why we have to postpone our opening for mid-January.<\/span><\/p>\n

Weather conditions<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The skating trails on our site are made of natural ice, so there is water and an entire ecosystem that lives under this ice. To open the icy trails, the temperature must be kept below zero for several consecutive days. Considering that it announces more than zero by January 5, we have to wait until after to offer you quality and safe skating trails in the maze.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maintenance in progress<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Be assured that our team is working very hard to maintain the site in order to be ready for the winter opening. Watering the maze, maintaining the trails, setting up campfires and winterizing the buildings, our maintenance workers have been helping out for several weeks now. To finalize the maintenance of the ice with our resurfacer (a very small zamboni), you need a minimum of 10 inches of ice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reservations<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It is possible to book a skating activity for the January 12, 2023 or after. If we are able to open before this date, we will communicate it via our newsletter<\/span><\/a><\/strong> and our social media.<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Season passes and punched cards<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

All those who have purchased a season pass and a punched card will be contacted shortly, and will have priority access to the labyrinth when we open again. <\/span><\/p>\n
