Ring-Necked Duck

Size: About between 38cm and 46cm

Longevity: It can live about 20 years.

Habitat: It lives in lakes, ponds, foresters, rivers and in salt water.

Food: The ring-necked duck feeds on the seeds and tubers of most aquatic plants.

Did you know that the ring-necked ducks stop to rest and feed on shallow lakes and impoundments with dense stands of cattails, bulrushes, and other emergent vegetation.
