1. How long does it take to get there from Ottawa?
We are 30 minutes away from downtown Ottawa. We are located in the municipality of La Pêche, Wakefield sector (Quebec). For more information, click here.
2. How many people can we be in the same peddle boat?
You can be four people in the peddle boat (2 adults and 2 children under 5 feet). A third child under 4 years old can also be added. If you are 3 adults, you can still go in the peddle boat, but the third person may be less confortable.
3. What is the minimal age to do the adventures?
Infants as young as 6 months can be put in a seater or be carried by an adult.
4. What is your cancel or refund policy?
For groups under 20 people, you have to contact us at least 72 hours before your reservation date for a cancellation or any changes to your visit. For groups over 20 people, we ask that you contact us at least 7 days before your reservation date for a cancellation or any changes to your visit.
5. Do you accept debit cards on site?
Unfortunately, we only accept cash or credit (VISA and MASTERCARD) at the moment.
6. What should we bring on the day of our visit?
We will lend you life jackets and all the necessary material for your adventure. We strongly suggest that you bring your personal effects like water, snacks, sunscreen, etc.
7. Are your facilities wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, because our adventures are not wheelchair accessible, none of our facilities are also.
8. Are domestic animals allowed?
No. Domestic animals are not allowed on site.
9. Are there a lot of bugs? Should I bring bug repellent?
You will surprised to learn that there are no (or very little) bugs on site. In fact, it is the main food of the dragonflies, frogs, birds and bats.
10. How long does it take to do an adventure?
All of our adventures take about 2 hours to complete.
11. What kind of payment do you accept for internet reservations?
We do not accept payment over the internet at the moment.
12. Is it possible to rent a camping site?
It is possible to rent a yurt and add tents nearby. It is the only camping site.13. Can we bring a bag or a lunch on the peddle boat?
Yes, it is possible to eat on the peddle boat as long as you pick up your trash and cigarette butts.
14. Is there a “snack shack” or a little convenience store on site?
No, we only sell water, juice and dry snacks.
15. Is it possible to picnic on site?
Yes, we have designated picnic areas including some in the shade and a common area for larger parties.
16. Can we drink alcoholic beverages on site?
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted aboard the peddle boats but there is a designated area on site for alcoholic beverages. No excessive behaviour will be tolerated.
17. Are you open when it rains?
We are open even if it rains. Only if there is a violent storm or heavy rain, we will give you a refund..
18. Are we protected from the sun or the rain on board the paddle boats?
Yes, our peddle boats are equipped with a waterproof sunroof.

No, we are only open during the summer, from mid-May to the mid-October.
